Parent Exhibit: Light And Color
Description: What colors can you make by mixing red, green, and blue light? This exhibit consists of three lamps (red, green, and blue) shining down onto a white surface. Visitors create different colors by blocking one or more of the lamps, or inserting colored filters between the lamps and the screen. By doing so they can overlap these primary colors to produce secondary colors or add all three together to create white light. This exhibit demonstrates the concepts of primary colors and color mixing.
