Program Fees

After-School Programs

$165 per hour with 6-hour minimum booking (typically 1-hour per week for 6 weeks)
Note: Additional lab fees may apply for some programs; See program descriptions for details.

Assemblies

$425 per program
$300 for second showing (same title within 30 minutes of first showing)

Classroom Programs

$135 per hour long program with 2-hour minimum booking
$240 per 2-hour long program
Note: Additional lab fees may apply for some programs; See program descriptions for details.

Portable Planetarium

$135 per hour with 2-hour minimum booking
$650 full day discount rate (6 hours)

Science Festival

$160 per hour with 3-hour minimum booking
$800 full day discount rate (6 hours)
$100 additional fee for live demonstrations

Traveling Science School

$695 per day per instructor with 3-day minimum booking

Super Science Days

Price varies with program selection

Travel Fees

Travel fees are charged for programs taking place more than 40 miles from OMSI.  Travel is charged at 55¢ per mile round-trip (subject to federal rate changes) and a $95 per day per instructor charge may also apply if an overnight stay is necessary.  Travel fees for all programs held outside of Oregon are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

Extended Trips

Throughout the school year OMSI plans several "extended trips" to various regions to help lessen travel costs for schools.  If you schedule a program when we're in your area, each school pays only the $95 per day per instructor for travel fees, in addition to the program fees, and no mileage is charged.
