Day 2

The second time Ockley Green students visited OMSI, we talked about electricity. We did lots of experiments, and learned how electricity was discovered. We looked at how electricity and magnetism are related, and how we use magnets to make electricity.

The students made iron filings line up, hair stand up, and used electricity to fling pie plates up into the air! It was a little shocking, and a lot of fun!
