 Public Science Day 2000 Event Showcase
OMSI and its partner school, WinterHaven, joined fourteen other science center/school teams nationwide to celebrate Public Science Day on February 17, 2000 with a full day of science exhibits and activities at OMSI.
WinterHaven students showcased their Public Science Day 2000 projects focused on this year's theme: "The Science of Everyday Things."
 
On Public Science Day, WinterHaven students served as special docents in OMSI's Chemistry, Computer, and Watershed Labs to teach other visitors about the science behind their year-long projects.
