ES: I was born in Princeton, NJ, moved to Wilmington, NC at age 2 and then to Portland at age 5. OMSI: What three words best describe you? ES: The three words that best describe me are energetic, inquisitive, loyal. OMSI: Do you have any hobbies, interests, or experiences that have helped prepare you for success in science? ES: What has helped prepare me for my science project is knowing how to work on a computer. OMSI: Please tell us about a mentor or teacher who helped to inspire your interest in science. ES: What has inspired my interest in science is being in the TAG program. OMSI: Describe a difficult situation that you were in and how you handled it. ES: Two people wanted to play with me but they liked to do different things so I combined them together. OMSI: What is your dream? What do you most hope to accomplish in your career? ES: My dream career would be in marine biology. OMSI: What do you like to do in your free time? ES: In my free time I like to play with my dog, Cody. OMSI: What do you consider your very best skill? ES: My best skill is math and science. OMSI: Please tell us about your science fair project. How did you come up with the idea for your project? How did you go about researching and building your project? What was it like to participate in the science fair, and what do you remember most from the fair? ES: My science fair project came about when Lauren, my partner, and I were trying to think of what to make. She said she knew how to make computer games. We found characters, backgrounds and how everything would work. The fair was exciting and fun. I remember the project next to us which had a really cool robot. OMSI: If you were to build your science fair project again, would you do anything differently? ES: What I would do differently with my project is give myself more time to work on it. | |||
