Brain Storm 2012, Night One

Brain Storm explores the genesis of innovation with eight of the region's most original thinkers.

Now in its second year, OMSI joined forces with Portland Monthly to celebrate and investigate inspiration and creativity in the many disciplines for which Oregon has a growing reputation: design, sustainability, the arts, education, health, technology, food and drink, engineering, and manufacturing. Brain Storm asks the questions: Who among us is changing the world? How are they doing it? What are their wellsprings of creativity?

Over two nights, October 17 & 18, attendees are invited to a free speaker-series event hosted in the Wieden + Kennedy Atrium to hear and meet the eight honorees. Read about the innovators before you meet them at the event.

Featured innovators for October 17:
Genevieve Bell
David Monette
Colleen Flanigan
Andy Frichtl
