Dangerous Decibels is designed to teach how hearing is damaged, and how to protect this important asset. The exhibit was developed by a consortium of innovative science researchers, museum educators, civic leaders and volunteers in a unique public/private partnership. Exhibit content is focused on reducing the incidence and prevalence of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) through fun, interactive activities.
