Parent Exhibit: Make It Move
Description: Operate a shovel loader to scoop, push, lift and dump! The Excavator is a model of a simple shovel loader just the size for a child to operate. Young visitors raise the arm of the shovel loader with one handle and control the orientation of the bucket and scoop arm with the other handle. Coordinating the two handles allows visitors to scoop and release material as well as push and pile objects. The shovel loader swivels on a base containing two compartments so objects can be transferred from one bin to another. This exhibit can be custom designed to your specifications.
