Description: Get Shaking! Step into the "house" and feel the earth move! Earthquake House is an open platform, ready to be incorporated into your design plan. The platform is powered by compressed air and controlled by a computer that is easily programmed to move in multiple axes. Duration and force of the movements may be varied to tailor the experience to the exhibit application. Movements are smooth and quiet. This is one of OMSI's most popular permanent exhibits and has been used as a demonstration platform for teaching earthquake preparedness techniques, as well as for demonstrating seismically accurate equipment. OMSI can custom design the exhibit to your specifications.
