Description: Navigate through a virtual marketplace and explore a world without money. In this computer simulation, begin with one product, such as an orange, that you want to trade for another product, such as chocolate. You must “visit” a variety of “vendors,” each of which will only accept certain items and may or may not take your offered trade (orange). How many transactions will it take before you end up with your final goal (chocolate)? Learn how bartering was used to get what you wanted before money existed and how money makes trading easier.
