Perfect for school, scouting, home school, youth, and church groups. Plan an OMSI Camp-In for team building, an end-of-the-year celebration, or just for fun! In the museum or on the submarine, it’s guaranteed to be a unique camping experience that’s warm, safe, dry, and exciting—any time of year!

Museum Camp-In

Price Fall $42.00, Spring $45.00 (PER PERSON)

Explore the awesome beauty and vast scale of the universe at OMSI! Learn about the Earth, Moon Sun, and other celestial objects, and find out how scientists study these mysterious objects. Activities are aligned with state content standards for science and provide plenty of opportunity for team building and problem solving. We ask that all groups provide at least a 1:5 adult to child ratio.

Museum Camp-Ins include: dinner, snack, and continental breakfast; plus an OMNIMAX movie, submarine tour and museum admission the following day.

NOTE: Available for Grades 3–8. The camp-in lasts from 4:30pm–9:30am the following day.

Submarine Camp-In

Price $55.00 (PER PERSON)

Experience what it’s like to live on a submarine, explore the torpedo room, peer through a periscope, and sleep in the crew’s quarters.  Learn about density and buoyancy as you explore how submarines are designed to dive and surface. We ask that all groups provide at least a 1:5 adult to child ratio.

Submarine Camp-Ins include: snack, continental breakfast, a science on a sphere show or lab experience, and museum admission the following day.

NOTE: Available for Grades 3–12. The camp-in lasts from 5:30pm–9:30am the following day.

Hostels

Price $20.00 (PER PERSON WITH SNACK & BREAKFAST)
$15.00 (PER PERSON WITHOUT MEALS)

Do you need another night in Portland to see all the sights? Join us for a hostel at OMSI. Standard hostels include reserved overnight sleeping space only.

When you register, ask about adding activities to your hostel, such as museum admission, OMNIMAX movies, planetarium shows, submarine tours, and reserved labs.

Note: Available for Grades 3– 12 on Tuesday through Saturday nights by arrangement.
