Journey to Space was developed by the Science Museum of Minnesota and the California Science Center in cooperation with the Science Museum Exhibit Collaborative with major support from NASA.
Whether you choose to rocket through the galaxy, dive beneath the waves, or race through snow-capped mountains, an assortment of incredible adventures awaits in this multi-sensory ride experience.
Art of Science: DUPLO Blocks (Ages 0-6)
Included in General Admission | Join us for some fun as we play with a childhood classic: DUPLO blocks!
Included in General Admission | The Chemistry Lab offers a wide variety of hands-on experiments and activities, and gives visitors the opportunity to safely mix, measure, and pour chemicals. The Chem Lab website is also the home of Experiencing Chemistry, a unique online resource for chemistry curriculum and engaging experiments.
Life Science Lab
Included in General Admission | The Life Lab, located in OMSI's Life Science Hall is a place of continual change, where exhibits, experiments and the public meet in a more intimate way than in the Halls. The Lab includes a large collection of live animals and a young children's table with lots of fun activities and experiments to allow our younger visitors to explore the life sciences.
National Parks Adventure
Explore the wilds of America in this new giant-screen film as big as the outdoors!

Food Science Demos
Included in General Admission | Located in the entrance to Theory, Food Science Demos feature hands-on activities and experiments all about the science behind the food we eat. Visitors can test foods for protein, learn how much sugar is in certain drinks, test soil pH for planting vegetables, put together a map of Oregon agriculture and much, much more!
Mysteries of the Unseen World
Scientists are on the threshold of extraordinary advances born of our drive to see all that is hidden in the world around us. Each day, trail-blazing researchers are pushing the envelope with new technologies to peer with increasing clarity into these once-invisible dimensions. Mysteries of the Unseen World takes audiences on an extraordinary journey into these unseen worlds beyond our normal vision to uncover the mysteries of things that are too fast, too slow, too small or simply invisible.
Narrated by Forest Whitaker, Mysteries of the Unseen World is an original production by National Geographic Entertainment and Day’s End Pictures. Starry Nights Live!

Navigate by the stars and discover how you can become a backyard astronomer. Topics will change monthly and graphics will be programmed accordingly. All shows are hosted and narrated live by OMSI planetarium staff.
