OMSI School Ambassadors

The goal of OMSI School Ambassadors is to make it easier for schools to use OMSI’s resources.

Here’s how it works:

One of your faculty members becomes an OMSI School Ambassador. This person understands what OMSI offers and how it might benefit your school and serves as your school’s representative to OMSI, giving us feedback on how we can better meet your needs. The goal is to have an OMSI Ambassador in every Oregon school.

Responsibilities of the OMSI Ambassador:

Widely distribute OMSI materials to teachers and staff at your school.

Promote OMSI science enrichment opportunities to your school community.

Attend one OMSI event per calendar year.

Agree to a one-year commitment as an OMSI Ambassador.

Incentives to become an OMSI Ambassador include:

Free OMSI family membership.

A 15% discount on OMSI professional development workshops.

Invitations to special welcome and thank you events hosted at OMSI.

Free copies of the Mostly Monday Memos.
